Chobe Princess Houseboat
Houseboat Lodge
The Chobe Princesses offer an extraordinary safari experience on the Chobe River, on the border between Namibia and Botswana. The three luxurious houseboats belong to the exclusive Zambezi Queen Collection and cruise along one of the most wildlife-rich waterways in southern Africa. Access is usually via Kasane, from where guests are transferred by boat to the houseboats. Even during the journey, travelers are treated to impressive scenery of open water, reed-lined channels, and riverbanks inhabited by hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species.

Accommodation at Chobe Princess houseboat
Two of the Chobe Princess houseboats each feature four elegant cabins, while the third offers five cabins. Large panoramic windows ensure that the spectacular river landscape is always in view. Every cabin includes an en-suite bathroom, comfortable beds, and air-conditioned interiors that provide welcome comfort even on warm days. On the upper deck, inviting lounge areas, a small plunge pool, and a stylish dining space create the perfect setting for relaxing while watching the ever-changing scenery drift by.
On board the Chobe Princesses, guests can choose between three packages: a 2-night, a 3-night, or a 4-night stay. Because the number of cabins is limited, visitors enjoy a very intimate and exclusive atmosphere. Larger groups of up to around ten guests can also charter an entire houseboat privately, making it an ideal option for families or friends seeking a private safari retreat.
Activities and tours at Chobe Princess Houseboat
Life on board is defined by a range of memorable activities on and around the water. Guests can observe elephants, buffalo, antelope, and countless bird species at close range in their natural habitat. For fishing enthusiasts, the Chobe River offers excellent opportunities for sport fishing, particularly for tiger fish and bream. Birdwatchers are equally rewarded, as the region is renowned for its remarkable diversity of birdlife. The experience is further enriched by cultural visits to local communities, offering fascinating insight into the daily lives of people living in this unique river environment.
