Floating lodge on the Chobe River
The Zambezi Queen is a 42 m long floating luxury boutique hotel and travels approximately 25 km along the mighty Chobe River. During the trip, guests can explore various viewpoints and observe the stunning nature, as the banks of the Chobe National Park are home to many elephants, buffalo, leopards, lions, various antelopes and numerous birds, including African skewers, sandpipers, fish eagles, open-billed storks, swallows and kingfishers.
A river safari on board the Zambezi Queen offers every imaginable luxury on three elegantly designed levels, where the communal areas such as the dining room, lounge, bar, gift shop and pool deck are located. The 5-star luxury houseboat has fourteen beautifully furnished cabins with private balconies and magnificent views of the Chobe River and the surrounding wilderness.
Activities include exciting game drives and fishing trips in a smaller dinghy, but also photographic safaris and cultural excursions to a Namibian village of the Subiya tribe in the floodplains of East Caprivi are offered.
