Guestfarm, Bush Camp and camping in the Erongo mountains
The Farm Omandumba West is a typical owner-run Namibian guest farm. Guests who stay at Omandumba will experience a cosy and familiar atmosphere and have the chance to be part of exciting farm events. The experience of the fascinating landscapes of the Erongo mountains are on of the highlights. The guest will sleep in rustic accommodation or luxury tents, all rooms are decorated with attention to detail.
The family Rust who has run Omandumba West for many years invites visitors to enjoy the recreative nature and exciting activities together with them, and of course the famous Namibian silence. Guests are invited to experience the daily farm life amongst dogs, cats, cows, goats, ostriches and other pets on Omandumba, a tremendous joy especially for children.
The personal contact of the Rust family and the visitors is a very important part of the "Omandumba experience". Breakfast, lunch and dinner are enjoyed together at the family table. After dinner hosts and guests are sitting around a campfire and listen to the stories of the old Namibia farm life.
Accommodation
Omandumba offers accommodation in 8 guest rooms and 8 luxury tents (Full board) as well as on five campsites.
On the guestfarm, visitors will stay in rustic furnished, typical Namibian bungalows or in large luxury tents. The eight basic, spacious and comfortable farm-style rooms are situated in close vicinity of the farm house. The bungalows do not offer air conditioning but authentic Namibian cosiness. The tents are located in the Bush Camp amidst scenic landscapes. All the rooms and tents are en suite. Omandumba Guestfarm and Bush Camp offers a superb breakfast and a sumptuous dinner. A light lunch is served on request. The meals are homemade with mostly venison from the farm and organic vegetables from the farm garden.
Omandumba offers 5 campsites in the beautiful area of the Erongo mountains. The private sites have cold / hot showers and open-air flush toilets. On the easily reachable (no 4x4 needed), generous campsites guests have the opportunity to get up-close and personal with the fascinating surroundings.

Omandumba offers numerous activities in the Erongo mountains, for example nature drives, interesting excursions to historic rock paintings and of course visits to the San and their Living Museum. Furthermore guests can always go on walks and on climbing excursions and can get to know our exciting way of live on the farm. The fascinating, wide open, romantic and wild landscape of the Erongo offers excellent opportunities of exploration for young and old.
