Lodge in the Intu Africa Game Reserve
Zebra Kalahari Lodge is regarded as the most elegant accommodation within the Intu Afrika Resort and is situated in the private Intu Afrika Kalahari Game Reserve, approximately 250 km south of Windhoek and about 70 km from Mariental. Covering around 10,000 hectares, the reserve protects the fragile desert and savannah ecosystem and provides a safe habitat for a wide variety of wildlife. Guests experience the Kalahari in its most authentic form while also gaining insight into the culture of the San people, whose traditional way of life remains closely connected to this region.

Accommodation at Zebra Kalahari Lodge
The lodge offers a total of 13 spacious and tastefully designed rooms accommodating up to 26 guests. Decorated in a contemporary African style, the rooms feature air conditioning, a minibar, tea and coffee-making facilities, a safe, and a spacious en-suite bathroom with shower. Additional beds are available, making the lodge a comfortable choice for families as well.
The communal areas include an elegant lounge with comfortable seating, a bar, and a restaurant with a terrace from which wildlife can often be observed. During the cooler winter months, open fireplaces create a cosy atmosphere, while the swimming pool offers welcome refreshment on hot days. Wi-Fi is available in the main building, the restaurant, and the bar area. Guests can also enjoy a small spa offering relaxing massage treatments.
Activities and tours at Zebra Kalahari Lodge
Upon arrival, guests are greeted by views of a frequently visited waterhole, but there is naturally much more to discover. Early morning and sunset game drives provide opportunities to spot gemsbok, giraffes, springbok, zebras and, with a bit of luck, even predators. More adventurous visitors can explore the dune landscape on guided quad bike tours, while guided San walks offer fascinating insights into traditional knowledge of plants, animal tracking and life in the Kalahari.
