Nyime Safari Lodge is located in the Buffalo Core Area of Bwabwata National Park, directly on the southeastern bank of the Okavango River and just a short distance from Divundu. Its exclusive setting within one of the most species-rich protected areas of the Kavango–Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area makes the lodge an outstanding destination for nature lovers and safari enthusiasts. Bwabwata National Park is unique in that wildlife and local communities coexist within the protected area. Large herds of elephants and buffalo roam freely alongside lions, leopards, sable antelope, roan antelope and a wide variety of other wildlife.

Accommodation at Nyime Safari Lodge
The intimate lodge offers a choice of nine spacious campsites, four well-appointed luxury safari tents and one freestanding Luxury Chalet. Each campsite is equipped with solar power, modern ablution facilities with hot and cold running water, and a private braai area. The luxury safari tents are positioned right on the riverbank, combining the charm of a traditional bush camp with comfortable furnishings, stylish interiors and private decks overlooking the Okavango River. The Luxury Chalet provides additional comfort and is ideal for guests who prefer solid accommodation while enjoying the wilderness.
Shared facilities include a swimming pool, an à la carte restaurant and comfortable lounge areas overlooking the river and the surrounding bushveld. Wildlife can often be spotted directly from the lodge, with African fish eagles soaring overhead and elephants frequently appearing along the riverbank.
Activities and tours at Nyime Safari Lodge
Boat cruises on the Okavango River are offered at sunrise and again in the late afternoon, providing excellent opportunities to observe hippos, crocodiles, elephants and a remarkable variety of waterbirds at close range. Birdwatchers particularly appreciate the region for its exceptional avian diversity. The elusive Pel's Fishing Owl, one of Africa's largest owl species, is regularly found along the wooded riverbanks. Guided game drives into Bwabwata National Park allow guests to explore the diverse wildlife of the Buffalo Core Area and experience one of Namibia's most pristine wilderness regions.
