Family-run winery in the Otavi Valley
Otavi Vineyards is located in the north of Namibia, close to Otavi in the beautiful Otavi valley and is surrounded by the rugged Otavi mountains. This location offers a very good climate for growing wine, and so the Boshoff family has dedicated itself for several years to the cultivation of grape varieties that thrive in the hot and dry climate. All wines are produced by hand from harvest to bottling according to traditional wine-making principles in order to express the terroir of the Otavi valley.

Accommodation at Otavi Vineyards
Guests can choose from several cosy self-catering accommodations, including double and family cottages with private bathrooms, kitchenettes and dining areas. Each unit is equipped with a refrigerator, cooking plate, crockery and cooking utensils. In addition, every cottage features a private veranda with seating and barbecue facilities, offering sweeping views across the vineyards and the surrounding mountain landscape. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing swimming pool and a spacious communal terrace, the perfect place to savour breakfast or a wine tasting.
The property also offers four generously sized campsites situated close to the vineyards. Each site features a shaded picnic area with table, a fire pit or barbecue area, electricity and drinking water. Shared ablution facilities with showers and toilets are only a short walk away.
Activities and tours at Otavi Vineyards
Among the most popular activities are personalised wine tastings, where guests can sample and learn more about the estate's different wines. The surrounding countryside and mountain scenery are also ideal for hiking and leisurely walks. Nearby, visitors can explore the historic Khorab Memorial, which commemorates events of the First World War in Namibia. The combination of winemaking, nature and warm family hospitality gives Otavi Vineyards its distinctive charm.
