Neuras Wine & Wildlife Estate is nestled in the foothills of the Naukluft Mountains on the edge of the Namib Desert, just 80 km from Sossusvlei. Natural springs and lush palm trees create a striking contrast to the surrounding desert landscape, giving the property the character of a green oasis. This romantic eco-lodge, part of the N/a’an ku sê Collection, is home to one of the driest vineyards in the world, where guests can sample handcrafted organic products and authentic Namibian wines.

Accommodation at Neuras Wine & Wildlife Estate
The main lodge area features a restaurant and bar overlooking the vineyards, as well as a swimming pool. The estate offers two luxury units for families or groups of friends, accommodating up to four guests. Each unit includes a kitchenette, dining and living area, and a private terrace with barbecue facilities. In addition, there are six rustic chalets, each with an en-suite bathroom and private veranda, suitable for up to two guests. A 10-minute walk from the lodge leads to the tented camp, where visitors can stay in safari tents equipped with twin beds while sharing communal bathroom facilities.
The heart of the estate is the central lodge area with its restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and vineyard views. Here, guests can enjoy wines produced on the estate, crafted under the unique conditions of the Namib and renowned far beyond Namibia’s borders.
Activities and tours at Neuras Wine & Wildlife Estate
Since the N/a’an ku sê Foundation acquired the property in 2012, the estate has served not only as a producer of high-quality Namibian wines but also as an important centre for wildlife conservation and research. Guests can join guided vineyard and cellar tours followed by wine tastings, gaining insight into the estate’s history, desert viticulture, and winemaking process. Additional activities include sundowner drives that showcase the area’s freshwater springs, the rugged landscapes of the Namib, and spectacular desert sunsets. Visitors also have the opportunity to learn about the foundation’s conservation efforts and meet rescued cheetahs living in a 35-hectare enclosure, offering a fascinating insight into Namibia’s wildlife protection initiatives.
