Unique winery on the Namib Desert's edge
Neuras Wine & Wildlife Estate is nestled in the foothills of the Naukluft mountains on the Namib Desert's edge, just 80 km from Sossusvlei. This romantic eco-lodge of the Naankuse Collection operates one of the driest vineyards in the world and guests can sample handcrafted organic products and authentic Namibian wines.
The lodge's main area includes a restaurant and bar overlooking the vineyards and a swimming pool. The estate offers two luxury units for families or friends of up to 4 people with a kitchenette, dining and living area and a terrace with barbecue. There are also six rustic en-suite chalets with their own veranda for a maximum of 2 people. Just a 10-minute walk from the lodge is the tented camp, where you can stay in safari tents with two single beds each, while the ablution facilities are shared.
The lodge has a variety of activities to showcase visitors the vineyards and freshwater springs or the rugged terrain of the Namib and the magnificent desert sunsets. Guests can also learn about the important conservation work of the N/a’an ku sê Foundation and meet the rescued cheetahs living in a 35-hectare enclosure.
