Voigtland Guesthouse is situated on an extensive farm approximately 30 minutes east of Windhoek in the Khomas Region, conveniently located between Namibia's capital and Hosea Kutako International Airport. Set on a gentle hillside, the guesthouse enjoys sweeping views across the surrounding savannah, dotted with mature trees, manicured lawns and spacious gardens. The farm has been owned by the Voigts family for four generations and remains an active agricultural property. It is also home to Namibia's oldest Simmentaler cattle stud.

Accommodation at Voigtland Guesthouse
The historic farmhouse, dating back to around 1900, offers eight individually decorated guest rooms, creating an intimate atmosphere with a strong focus on privacy and personalised hospitality. Each room is comfortably furnished and features an en-suite bathroom, quality beds, tea and coffee-making facilities, a safe, and in some cases a refrigerator or a small outdoor kitchenette.
Shared facilities include several elegant lounges, a tastefully furnished dining room and a spacious veranda overlooking the gardens. A swimming pool with sun loungers provides a welcome retreat during the warmer months, while the kitchen serves freshly prepared breakfasts, light lunches and evening meals. In addition to welcoming overnight guests, Voigtland has established itself as a stylish venue for special occasions.
The historic farm provides an elegant setting for weddings, private celebrations, corporate functions and conferences, with its expansive gardens, veranda and charming farmhouse creating a memorable backdrop.
Activities and tours at Voigtland Guesthouse
Voigtland is particularly well known for its free-roaming giraffes, which regularly wander up to the terrace and can often be observed during breakfast or in the afternoon. The farm is also home to a variety of wildlife, including oryx, kudu, impala, waterbuck and mountain zebra. Guided farm drives offer insights into both the local wildlife and the working farm, while hiking trails, mountain biking and wellness treatments provide additional opportunities to relax and explore the surrounding landscape. The combination of historic farm charm, warm hospitality, active farming and close encounters with nature makes Voigtland Guesthouse a distinctive destination just outside Windhoek.
