Sossusvlei
Sossusvlei Scenic Flight (Route 1)

Flight route and highlights
Departing from Windhoek, we explore Sossusvlei and the surrounding landscape from a bird’s-eye view. During the scenic flight, you’ll soar over Sesriem Canyon, the famous Dune 45, and the dune corridor, passing striking formations such as Devil’s Claw and the magical Deadvlei. The route also includes Big Daddy—one of the highest dunes in the world—and Sossusvlei itself. From the air, you’ll also spot Elim Dune, the mysterious Fairy Circles, and with a bit of luck, even wildlife in their natural habitat.

Sossusvlei + Excursion
Sossusvlei Scenic Flight with excursion (Route 2)

Flight route and highlights
Departing from Windhoek, we explore Sossusvlei and the surrounding landscape from a bird’s-eye view. During the scenic flight, you’ll soar over Sesriem Canyon, the famous Dune 45, and the dune corridor, passing striking formations such as Devil’s Claw and the magical Deadvlei. The route also includes Big Daddy—one of the highest dunes in the world—and Sossusvlei itself. From the air, you’ll also spot Elim Dune, the mysterious Fairy Circles, and, with a bit of luck, even wildlife in their natural habitat.
We land at the Sossusvlei airstrip, where the Sossusvlei excursion begins. Accompanied by an experienced guide, you’ll travel by 4x4 through the Namib-Naukluft Park. Along the approximately 60-kilometer route, you’ll make several stops to take in the breathtaking desert scenery. A highlight of the tour is the stop at the iconic Dune 45, the most photographed dune in the world. Those interested can then join a guided walk of about 2.6 kilometers up to Deadvlei. For more active visitors, there’s also the option to climb to the top edge of Big Daddy dune. After exploring Sossusvlei, you’ll return to the lodge after roughly five and a half hours.

Sossusvlei + Swakopmund
Sossusvlei Scenic flight + Swakopmund day visit (Route 3)

Flight route and highlights
Departing from Windhoek, we begin by exploring Sossusvlei and the surrounding landscape from a bird’s-eye view. The flight path follows Route 1 (see Sossusvlei Scenic Flight). We then continue toward the Atlantic coast, flying over three former diamond mines and the shipwreck of the Eduard Bohlen. The journey proceeds to Sandwich Harbour, where—with a bit of luck—we may spot flocks of beautiful flamingos. The flight continues over the colorful salt pans near the deep-sea port of Walvis Bay and past the lighthouse at Pelican Point, an area known for its seal colonies. We then land in Swakopmund, where there’s time for lunch and a few optional activities. In the afternoon, we fly back to Windhoek.

Flight route and highlights
Departing from Windhoek, we first explore Sossusvlei, including a guided excursion on the ground, before continuing our flight over Walvis Bay to Swakopmund. The first part of this journey follows Route 2 (Sossusvlei Scenic Flight with Excursion). After the Sossusvlei excursion—including lunch at a lodge—we head toward the Atlantic coast, flying over three former diamond mines and the shipwreck of the Eduard Bohlen. The journey continues to the historic harbor paradise of Sandwich Harbour, where—with a bit of luck—we may spot flocks of beautiful flamingos. We then fly over the colorful salt pans near the deep-sea port of Walvis Bay and past the lighthouse at Pelican Point, an area known for its resident seal colonies. The flight continues to Swakopmund and finally back to Windhoek.

Fish River
Fish River Canyon Scenic Flight and Sossusvlei (Route 5)
- Duration: 6 hours, 10 minutes
Flight route and highlights
We depart from Windhoek, following a route similar to the Sossusvlei Scenic Flight (see Route 1). From there, we continue south toward the Fish River Canyon, flying over impressive rocky landscapes before landing near the canyon. Next, we enjoy a delicious lunch at the stunning Fish River Lodge. After the break, we head to a viewpoint located right on the edge of the Fish River Canyon. Here, you can take in the magical atmosphere of the canyon and enjoy panoramic views of the vast gorge and the winding Fish River below. We then fly back over Namibia’s endless open landscapes to Eros Airport in Windhoek.

Kolmanskop + Lüderitz
Lüderitz and Kolmanskop scenic flight with Sossusvlei (Route 6)

Flight route and highlights
We depart from Windhoek, following a route similar to the Sossusvlei Scenic Flight (see Route 1). From there, we continue toward the coast near Meob Bay, flying along the shoreline all the way to Lüderitz—with stunning views of the Frot America shipwreck, the ghost town of Kolmanskop, and the Lüderitz harbor. Upon landing in Lüderitz, we explore the town on a guided tour covering all its highlights. Lunch is also enjoyed here. Afterward, we take an excursion to the mysterious ghost town of Kolmanskop before flying back to Windhoek.
