Terms & Conditions
By accessing, browsing and using our website or any of our applications through whatever platform (hereafter collectively referred to as the "website") and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
1. Scope of our Service
Through the website we (Info Namibia) provide an online platform through which all types of accommodation and other service providers (car rentals, activity operators, etc) can be booked. By making a reservation through Info Namibia, you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with Info Namibia.
The information disclosed on Info Namibia is based on the information provided to us by accommodation providers. Our website does not constitute and should not be regarded as a recommendation or endorsement of the quality, service level, qualification or (star) rating of any accommodation made available.
Our services are available for personal and non-commercial use only. The use of any content or information, software, products or services available on our website for any commercial or competitive activity or purpose is not allowed.
The rates quoted on our website are rack rates and include VAT and an obligatory tourism levy ( and are thus subject to change), unless stated differently on our website or the confirmation email. We do not charge any additional booking fees.
3. Booking procedure & Payment
1. Reservation request via our booking form
After receipt of the booking form we provisionally check availability of the requested accommodation / service. As soon as we acquire the information we contact you by e-mail.
2. Binding booking
Only after written reconfirmation from your side we place a binding booking with the accommodation establishment / service provider.
3. Payment / Deposit
For bookings of single accommodations a deposit is only requested if the accommodation facility / service provider demands a pre-payment to secure the booking. The amount is based on the terms & conditions of the accommodation facility / service provider.
For bookings of a complete tour we require a 20% deposit payment. In case of a cancellation a 10% service fee will be applicable.
Eight weeks before arrival we send you the total invoice, which is payable promptly after receipt onto our German or Namibian account. All bank charges arising from the money transfer must be borne by the remitter. All our rates are quoted in N$. The conversion of N$ into € is based on the daily exchange rate (cheque rate) provided by Bank Windhoek.
Due date of payment: The due date of payment is strictly 14 days after receipt of the invoice. Due to fluctuations in the exchange rate between the Euro and the South African Rand, to which the Namibia Doller is linked, Info-Namibia reserves the right to issue a revised invoice if payment is not received within the given period. The invoice with the revised exchange rate is then binding.
Please take note that we do not accept payment by credit card.
4. Final booking confirmation
After receipt of complete payment we send you the voucher(s) by e-mail. Please print these and present them to the accommodation facility / service provider on arrival.
5. Campsite bookings
Please be advised that we are not able to proceed any camping requests.
4. Self drive service
When booking your complete self-drive safari and rental car with Info-Namibia we offer an additional self-drive service. You will receive a file with detailed route description, a Namibia map, accommodation vouchers and a telephone list - at no extra costs.
5. Cancellation policy
You can at any time cancel you booking with Info Namibia. When a complete tour is cancelled a 10% service fee will be charged.
For short term cancellations the following fees apply:
- 30 to 16 days before arrival: 50% of the total payable amount
- 15 to 11 days before arrival: 80% of the total payable amount
- Less than 10 before arrival / no show: 100% of the total payable amount
