The Kambaku Safari Lodge is located in northern Namibia, about 20 to 25 kilometers north of the Waterberg Plateau Park, on a private game reserve of approximately 80 km² between Otjiwarongo and Otavi. Its position at the foot of a gently rolling savanna dotted with trees offers wide, open views of the landscape, where giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and numerous bird species can be observed roaming freely. The remote setting ensures a particularly peaceful stay, far away from heavily frequented routes, while the Etosha region can be reached in about two hours by car.

Accommodation at Kambaku Safari Lodge
The lodge consists of only ten individually designed units, including stylish standard rooms, family accommodations, and some more luxuriously equipped options, as well as a permanently installed safari tent. All accommodations feature natural materials, mosquito nets, en-suite bathrooms, and terraces offering direct views of the savanna or a waterhole. The design follows an open, warm aesthetic with thatched roofs, wood elements, and plenty of natural light, allowing the buildings to blend harmoniously into the surrounding environment.
The offering is complemented by a central area featuring a lounge, restaurant, bar, swimming pool, and spacious garden grounds. Culinary experiences such as multi-course dinners under the starry sky or bush breakfasts in the open wilderness are an integral part of the stay.
Activities and tours at Kambaku Safari Lodge
The activity program is diverse and nature-focused. Daily guided game drives in the morning and afternoon are offered, along with bush walks, mountain bike tours, and horseback riding excursions through the savanna. Horseback safaris with experienced guides are especially popular, as are wildlife observations at waterholes, allowing for close encounters with African wildlife. The program is further enhanced by archery, clay pigeon shooting, outdoor yoga sessions, and relaxing treatments at the bush spa.
