The Okonjima Villa is an exclusive retreat in the heart of the private Okonjima Nature Reserve, located between Windhoek and Etosha National Park. The villa offers the highest level of privacy in a spectacular natural setting. From its elevated position, guests enjoy unobstructed views over a waterhole where wildlife such as antelope, warthogs, and numerous bird species can regularly be observed – often directly from the terrace or the infinity pool.

Accommodation at Okonjima Villa
The villa itself is spacious and elegantly designed, making it ideal for families or small travel groups. It can accommodate up to eight adults and several children. The main house features two luxurious en-suite bedrooms, complemented by two separate freestanding mini-suites with expansive views of the surrounding wilderness. The interiors combine contemporary safari design with warm natural materials and stylish African accents.
An open lounge with fireplace, a generous dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and extensive outdoor decks create an exclusive living experience in the middle of the wilderness. Services include personal attention, a private chef, and individualized care by the lodge team. The villa is booked exclusively on a fully inclusive basis, with a private guide and vehicle available for personalized game drives.
Activities and tours at Okonjima Villa
The wide range of activities available to villa guests is particularly impressive. One of the highlights is the renowned leopard tracking experience, where experienced guides accompany guests in following the animals’ tracks while providing fascinating insights into the reserve’s research work. Equally exciting are excursions to observe brown hyenas or the rare pangolin. Morning and evening game drives offer opportunities to encounter a variety of wildlife, while guided walks through the reserve provide deeper insight into the flora, fauna, and ecosystem. The experience is enhanced by visits to the AfriCat Foundation Carnivore Care Centre, where guests can learn more about the protection of endangered predators in Namibia.
