The exclusive Mountain Lodge is ideal for guests seeking peace and privacy. Its five standalone chalets are set in an elevated position with sweeping views over the savannah and feature stylish bedrooms, modern bathrooms, air conditioning, and private terraces. The tranquil setting and infinity pool create a particularly luxurious safari atmosphere.
The Eagle’s Rest Lodge forms the heart of the property and offers 22 elegant double rooms and 7 family chalets (each with two bedrooms, self-catering available) with comfortable amenities and private verandas. With its restaurant, swimming pool, and location next to a waterhole, it creates a relaxed lodge atmosphere that is especially appealing to families and touring travellers.
The Savanna Luxury Villa combines the highest level of comfort with absolute privacy. This spacious villa offers four luxurious bedrooms accommodating up to 8 adults and 2 children, extensive living areas, a modern kitchen, private terraces, and an exclusive swimming pool. Its secluded location in the heart of nature makes it ideal for families or small groups seeking an exclusive safari experience in a private setting.
The offering is complemented by the Thorn Bush Camp with 10 stylish safari tents that combine authentic bush atmosphere with comfort, as well as 5 well-maintained campsites for a particularly close-to-nature experience.
Activities and tours at Otjiwa
Lodge Otjiwa also offers a wide range of activities. Classic game drives take guests through the reserve, offering encounters with rhinos, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Particularly impressive are guided rhino tracking excursions, allowing close-up wildlife experiences. The safari programme is further complemented by guided bush walks, night drives, and sundowner drives focused on Namibia’s spectacular sunsets. In addition, horse riding, e-bike tours, and cultural village visits provide active and diverse ways to explore the surroundings. Guests seeking relaxation can unwind in the lodge’s spa area and end the day overlooking the African wilderness.
