Epupa Falls Lodge is located in the far northwest of Namibia, in the remote and scenically striking Kunene Region, directly on the banks of the Kunene River and in close proximity to the spectacular Epupa Falls. As one of the oldest accommodations in the area, the lodge has a long history and remains one of the few places where visitors can experience the rugged beauty of this border region between Namibia and Angola in an immersive way.

Accommodation at Epupa Falls Lodge
The accommodation offering is intentionally kept small and includes five freestanding chalets with views of the river, as well as several campsites for self-catering guests. The chalets are functional and comfortably furnished, featuring en-suite bathrooms and mosquito nets, and their positioning allows for an immediate connection to the surrounding nature. The facilities are complemented by shared areas such as a restaurant and bar, which are set on elevated platforms and provide sweeping views of the waterfalls. The limited capacity ensures a quiet, personal atmosphere.
Activities and tours at Epupa Falls Lodge
Guided walks along the river and to the waterfalls offer impressive perspectives of the landscape, while sundowner drives and day trips open up the vastness of Kaokoland. Particularly memorable are encounters with the Ovahimba people, which take place by organized tours. The program is further enriched by birdwatching, nature drives, and combined hiking and excursion tours that showcase the diversity of the region.
