Khowarib Lodge is located in the remote northwestern part of Namibia in the spectacular Khowarib Gorge, directly on the banks of the Hoanib River, one of the few rivers in the region that flows year-round. The area marks the transition between the vast desert landscapes of Damaraland and the rugged mountain ranges of the Kaokoveld, featuring an almost untouched wilderness where desert-adapted elephants, antelopes, and, with some luck, even rhinos are regularly spotted.
