The Desert & Delta Safaris-owned Chobe Savanna Lodge forms part of the company’s prestigious portfolio. It enjoys a spectacular location on the northern bank of the Chobe River in Namibia’s Zambezi Region, overlooking the famous Puku Flats of Chobe National Park in Botswana. These floodplains are renowned as the habitat of the rare Puku antelope, which gave the area its name. Guests arrive by boat from Kasane, and even the transfer across the river becomes an impressive wildlife experience, as elephants, hippos, and a wide variety of bird species are often seen along the riverbanks.

Accommodation at Chobe Savanna Lodge
The Chobe Savanna Lodge offers accommodation for up to 24 guests in traditional African-style thatched chalets. Each chalet provides generous space, a comfortable bedroom, a modern bathroom, and a private outdoor area overlooking the surrounding wilderness. The chalets are positioned to ensure privacy and tranquillity. Additional facilities include an inviting swimming pool area, several lounge spaces, an open fire pit, and excellent cuisine served in a relaxed atmosphere.
Activities and tours at Chobe Savanna Lodge
Activities are perfectly tailored to the lodge’s water-rich surroundings. Motorised boat safaris on the Chobe River offer exceptional close-up wildlife viewing opportunities. Large herds of elephants, buffalo, crocodiles, hippos, and various antelope species regularly gather at the water’s edge, while the riverbanks are among the best bird-watching locations in the region. For a particularly memorable experience, sunset cruises are offered, during which the landscape is bathed in golden light. Seasonal catch-and-release fishing excursions, where the fish are returned alive to the water after being caught, complete the range of activities.
