Guestfarm at the Gamsberg

At the foot of the majestic Gamsberg lies Corona Guest Farm, about halfway between Windhoek and the Atlantic coast. Surrounded by spectacular mountains, striking rock formations and remarkable silence, this traditional guest farm offers an ideal stopover for travelers on their way to Swakopmund or the Namib Desert. Its secluded location on a high plateau creates an atmosphere of peace and authenticity, where the vastness of Namibia can be experienced in all its beauty.

Accommodation at Corona Guest Farm

The family suites are located in the historic main house and feature separate living and sleeping areas. A cosy lounge area with a sofa, desk and seating invites guests to relax after a day of adventure. The suites also include a private bathroom, a small fridge or minibar, and a private veranda overlooking the garden or the surrounding mountains. The standard rooms are situated a short distance from the main house within the well-kept gardens, offering plenty of privacy. They are smaller than the suites but equally stylish and comfortable. Each room features an en-suite bathroom with shower, comfortable beds, seating areas and a shaded veranda where guests can enjoy the tranquillity of nature.

The accommodation is complemented by beautifully maintained gardens, shady trees and a spacious swimming pool overlooking the surrounding mountains — a place where relaxation comes naturally. The farm is also well known for its excellent cuisine: freshly prepared meals and warm hospitality create memorable dining experiences in a peaceful setting.

Activities and tours at Corona Guest Farm

In addition to relaxation, the guest farm offers a wide range of activities. Guests can explore the diverse landscape on marked hiking trails, observe wildlife such as Oryx, Greater kudu and Mountain zebra, and discover impressive rock formations. Excursions to ancient Bushman rock paintings provide fascinating insights into the region’s history. Nature drives through the surrounding mountains reveal spectacular panoramic views, while stargazers are rewarded at night with an exceptionally clear, sparkling sky thanks to the near-total absence of artificial light.
