Okapuka Safari Lodge is located just 30 minutes by car from the centre of Namibia’s capital within a private nature reserve covering approximately 7,300 hectares. The landscape is characterised by vast savannah plains, ancient camel thorn trees and a striking mountain backdrop. The name “Okapuka” originates from the Herero language and means “small animal” – a reference to the remarkable wildlife diversity that can already be observed around the lodge. Okapuka Safari Lodge is an ideal stop at the beginning or end of a self-drive tour through Namibia.
