Set on a 50-hectare private nature reserve in Brakwater, Windhoek Game Camp is located approximately 20 minutes north of Windhoek's city centre. Its convenient location, just about 50 minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport, makes the lodge an ideal choice for the first or last stop of a Namibia holiday. Despite its easy accessibility, guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the surrounding bushveld, where a variety of wildlife roams freely and can often be seen gathering at the camp's nearby waterholes.

Accommodation at Windhoek Game Camp
The lodge offers eight spacious luxury safari tents, each accommodating two adults and up to two children. The permanently erected tents combine the atmosphere of a classic safari camp with modern comforts. Each unit features an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a private veranda with tea and coffee-making facilities.
The restaurant forms the social heart of the camp, serving a generous breakfast buffet every morning. In the evenings, guests can enjoy either a three-course dinner or a varied buffet. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant, reception area, and around the swimming pool. A heated swimming pool with an outdoor shower provides a relaxing place to unwind throughout the year. From the sun deck and communal areas, guests frequently spot giraffes, oryx, springbok, and other wildlife visiting the nearby waterholes.
Activities and tours at Windhoek Game Camp
One of the camp's highlights is the approximately 1.5-hour Nature Walk, which explores the reserve and offers fascinating insights into the local flora and fauna. Guests can also join a guided sundowner drive, providing an opportunity to experience the landscape in the warm light of the late afternoon and early evening. Wildlife viewing begins right at the lodge, where animals regularly roam the surrounding bush and visit the waterholes. On request, transfers can be arranged between the lodge, Hosea Kutako International Airport, and Windhoek city centre.
