The Desert Quiver Camp is located in close proximity to the Sesriem entrance gate in the southern part of the Namib-Naukluft National Park, just a few minutes’ drive from the famous dune fields around Sossusvlei and the Sesriem Canyon. The property is set within a vast, open desert landscape, offering views of striking rock formations and the characteristic red sand dunes of the Namib. The camp is designed as a modern self-catering accommodation and is particularly suited to independent travelers.

Accommodation at Desert Quiver Camp
The luxury tents are spaciously designed and arranged to ensure privacy and uninterrupted views. Each unit features a combined living and sleeping area, an en-suite bathroom, and a covered veranda. A functional kitchenette with refrigerator, cooking facilities, and a barbecue area is integrated, allowing guests to cater for themselves with flexibility.
The offering is complemented by shared facilities that enhance the overall stay. In the central area, guests will find a swimming pool with wide-ranging views, a bar with a large TV, and two boma fire pits, which create a distinctive atmosphere, especially in the evenings. Guests may also make use of the facilities and dining options at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge.
Activities and tours at Desert Quiver Camp
Activities include excursions to the dunes of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, among the most impressive landscapes in Namibia. The Sesriem Canyon is also easily accessible and offers insights into the geological development of the region. In addition, a variety of guided excursions are available, including nature drives, sunrise hot air balloon flights, and scenic flights over the desert.
