Gamis Guestfarm

Guestfarm and self-catering near the Naukluft mountains

Gamis Farm is a very personal, owner run guestfarm in the vicinity of Naukluft Mountains. Originally a sheep farm Gamis is located in vast, open landscapes of Namibia and provides accommodation in two twin rooms as well as a self-catering house. A farm swimming pool offers a welcome refreshment during the hot summer months.

Guests are free to explore the farm on their own or during guided drives.

Gamis Farm stands for endless and fascinating landscapes, authentic hospitality and a rustic and relaxing Namibian holiday experience. The guest farm is owner run by Erika and Christof Diekmann, who  will introduce guests to the authentic live of a Namibian farmer. Join them on a walk or drive on their farm and get to know about the challenges of farming in a semi-arid region whilst watching game like kudu, oryx and springbok.

Gamis Farm offers accommodation on DBB or self-catering basis. There are 2 guest rooms with twin bed within the main house sharing a bathroom. The rooms are rented out to one family / group at the time, so privacy is always granted. The rooms lead onto a small veranda.

The self-catering house is privately located and offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a sitting and ding room and a veranda with great views.

The activities offered on the farm include hiking, swimming, self-drive or guided 4x4 tours on the premises of the farm and taking a ride on electronic bikes. Children are most welcome.

Due to the vicinity to the Naukluft Mountains and the Sossusvlei we recommend a stay of two, or better three days to be able to explore the area.
