Le Mirage Desert Lodge & Spa is located in southern Namibia, approximately 21 km south of the Sesriem Gate on the edge of the Namib-Naukluft National Park. The lodge is situated close to one of Namibia’s most famous attractions — Sossusvlei. Built in a North African-inspired style, the property features spacious courtyards with green, shaded areas that create an oasis-like atmosphere, standing in striking contrast to the surrounding desert landscape and defining the character of the stay.

Accommodation at Le Mirage Desert Lodge
The lodge features 27 air-conditioned rooms divided into two categories: Camelthorn Rooms and Oasis Rooms. Both room types offer spacious layouts, en-suite bathrooms, and amenities such as a minibar, safe, and tea and coffee stations. Some rooms include balconies overlooking the surrounding desert, allowing guests to experience the natural scenery directly from their accommodation. The solid construction with partly stone-built walls also helps maintain a comfortable indoor climate despite the extreme temperatures of the Namib Desert.
A distinctive feature of the lodge is its extensive spa and wellness area, designed specifically for relaxation. Guests can enjoy massages, hydrotherapy, and a variety of beauty treatments in carefully designed treatment rooms. In addition, a swimming pool and whirlpool provide refreshing retreats after excursions into the dune landscape.
Activities and tours at Le Mirage Desert Lodge
Activities include guided trips to the dunes of Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei, as well as visits to Sesriem Canyon. Sunset drives, nature drives, and quad bike tours along designated routes are also available. For particularly spectacular views of the desert, hot air balloon safaris and scenic flights over the Namib can be arranged directly through the lodge.
