Accommodation at Wolwedans Boulders Camp
Accommodation at Wolwedans must be booked for a minimum of 2 nights. The camp accommodates a maximum of ten guests in five spacious tented suites. Each suite has been carefully positioned to ensure both privacy and uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. Expansive wooden decks, canvas walls that open wide to the desert, and separate en-suite bathrooms create a seamless connection with the natural environment. All suites feature private relaxation areas overlooking the plains of the reserve. Suite 1 includes its own plunge pool, while the remaining suites share a small pool between every two units.
At the heart of the camp are the communal areas, which include an elegant lounge and dining tent, a breakfast terrace, a small library, a swimming pool, and an open fireplace where guests gather after sunset. A nearby rocky viewpoint is particularly popular, offering spectacular panoramic views and unforgettable desert sunsets.
Activities and Excursions at Wolwedans Boulders Camp
A variety of activities are included in the rate, including morning and afternoon desert drives, sunrise and sunset excursions, full-day explorations of the desert, stargazing safaris, and much more. The programme is further enhanced by guided walks along historic San trails, fat-bike excursions, extended nature walks, and opportunities to experience the tranquillity of the desert in complete solitude. Horse-riding excursions can also be arranged with advance notice.
