Lodge south of Etosha
The Eagle Tented Lodge & Spa is located south of Etosha National Park, about 55 km from the Anderson Gate, within the private Epacha Game Reserve. This expansive protected area, covering nearly 20,000 hectares, offers stunning views of rocky hills, valleys, and the typical bush landscape of northern Namibia and is known for its rich biodiversity. In addition to numerous antelope species, rare animals such as black rhinos, sable antelopes, and black-faced impalas can also be found here.

Accommodation at Eagle Tented Lodge & Spa
The main building is constructed from natural stone with a thatched roof and forms the central hub with a restaurant, bar, and pool area. Sixteen comfortable tents are spread across elevated positions in the hills, providing a high level of privacy as well as wide panoramic views. Each unit features an en-suite bathroom, a spacious wooden deck, and amenities such as tea and coffee stations. In addition to classic tents, larger family tents are available, offering more space and, in some cases, extra features such as outdoor bathtubs.
A key feature of the lodge is its spa and wellness offering, with treatments, massages, and aromatic baths designed for relaxation after eventful safari days. The Mystique Spa includes a sauna, steam bath, and two treatment rooms. For couples wishing to enjoy treatments together, the spa also offers an open-air treatment room.
Activities and tours at Eagle Tented Lodge & Spa
Game drives in the private reserve take place both during the day and at night, allowing for intensive wildlife viewing away from large visitor crowds. In addition, full-day excursions to Etosha National Park—one of Africa’s most important wildlife reserves—are offered. The program is further complemented by guided walks, birdwatching, cultural encounters with local communities, and optional experiences such as clay pigeon shooting or bush breakfasts in the wilderness.
