Eldorado is a private game farm with guesthouse accommodation and campsites, located just 8 km from the Anderson Gate, the main entrance to Etosha National Park. This makes access to the park for day trips quick and straightforward. In addition to well-maintained gardens and a small pool area, shaded outdoor spaces and communal areas provide relaxation between excursions. The accommodation options include comfortable double and family rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. Some units also feature small kitchen areas for self-catering. The offer is complemented by well-kept campsites with sanitary facilities, allowing for a close-to-nature stay in the bush.
Culinary offerings focus on traditional Namibian cuisine with regional influences. Particularly popular are barbecue evenings in the typical “braai” style, often enjoyed in a sociable setting that enhances the authentic farm experience.
Activities and tours at Eldorado
Activities include guided game drives into Etosha National Park as well as individual self-drive tours, offering opportunities to observe elephants, lions, and many other wildlife species in their natural habitat.
A special feature of the lodge is its combination of classic hospitality and an agricultural background. As a working farm with livestock, Eldorado provides insight into life and work in rural Namibia. At the same time, its own predator sanctuary offers a unique experience: predators such as cheetahs and hyenas are kept here after having posed a threat to livestock. Guided visits provide insight into conservation measures and animal care.
