Etosha Oberland Lodge is located about 10 km southeast of Anderson Gate, the southern entrance to Etosha National Park, and lies within a private wildlife reserve of around 5,000 hectares that directly borders the park. This setting makes it a particularly exclusive base for safaris, as guests can quickly access the wildlife of the renowned conservation area while enjoying a quiet, secluded environment.

Accommodation at Etosha Oberland Lodge
The main building is set within a savanna landscape characterized by Mopane trees and opens up with wide sights across the surrounding plains. From the elevated terrace and infinity pool, there are unobstructed views of two waterholes that are regularly visited by wildlife. From the moment guests enter the open-plan lobby, they are immersed in nature—an experience that becomes especially intense in the evening hours with sunsets and wildlife viewing.
The lodge offers a total of 20 freestanding suites, including family suites with two bedrooms. These are spaced generously apart, ensuring a high level of privacy. Each unit features approximately 75 m² of living space, a bathroom, outdoor shower, and a private terrace overlooking the savanna. Amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, minibar, and tea and coffee facilities.
Culinary offerings are equally refined, with multi-course evening meals often served outdoors, incorporating views of the nearby waterholes.
Activities and tours at Etosha Oberland Lodge
The activity program focuses on guided game drives in open safari vehicles into Etosha National Park, as well as sundowner drives in the surrounding landscape. Additionally, guided or self-guided walking excursions ranging from five to twenty kilometers are available, offering direct encounters with the flora and fauna of the private reserve.
