Onguma Camp Kala is an ultra-exclusive safari lodge located in the private Onguma Nature Reserve, bordering the eastern edge of the renowned Etosha National Park. Accomodation at Onguma Kala Camp
The camp features only four spacious luxury suites, each elevated on wooden decks with breathtaking panoramic views over a waterhole frequently visited by wildlife. Every suite includes a private deck with a plunge pool, a wood-fired whirlpool, and a shaded sala with a king-size day bed – perfect for a relaxed “armchair safari” or a night under the stars. The open-plan suites offer luxurious King or Twin beds, a generous bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and large shower, and a comfortable living area with a well-stocked personal bar.
The lodge’s central area features an elegant lounge, an intimate cocktail bar, a dining area with an open chef’s kitchen, and a panoramic terrace with a fire pit. Guests can observe wildlife from multiple vantage points, including a ground-level photographic hide or while relaxing on the terrace. Additional amenities include a fully equipped gym, a spa treatment room, and a yoga deck – perfect for rejuvenating between safari adventures.
Activities and tours at Onguma Kala Camp
Activities at Camp Kala are tailored and exclusive, taking place within the 34,000-hectare Onguma Reserve and the neighboring Etosha National Park. Experiences include guided morning and sunset game drives, interpretative bush walks, and excursions into Etosha itself. Depending on the booking, two activities per night are included in the accommodation rate, along with all meals, selected beverages, and a 60-minute spa treatment per guest.
As the camp is unfenced, children under 12 are only permitted when the entire lodge is booked, ensuring an intimate and serene atmosphere.
