Okutala Lodge is situated on a private wildlife reserve of approximately 24,000 hectares south of Etosha National Park and combines luxurious comfort with immersive nature and wildlife experiences. Located about 40 kilometers from Anderson Gate, the lodge is an ideal base for safaris into the national park as well as for wildlife viewing on its own expansive farm grounds.

The lodge offers a total of 21 spacious rooms and accommodation units, stylishly furnished and each featuring a private terrace overlooking the Namibian savannah landscape. Amenities include air conditioning, mosquito nets, hairdryers, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Family rooms provide a separate adjoining bedroom with a connecting door and a private bathroom, ensuring a comfortable stay for families traveling with children.
The heart of the property is the thatched lapa with restaurant and bar, overlooking a waterhole that regularly attracts wildlife such as giraffes, antelopes, and rhinos. Additional facilities include a swimming pool, a sun deck, and inviting lounge areas. The cuisine blends Namibian and international influences and is usually served in a relaxed setting with views of the surrounding nature.

A special feature of Okutala Lodge is its wide range of activities, which go far beyond classic game drives. Numerous wildlife species roam freely across the extensive farm area, and guests can join guided feeding tours where animals such as hyenas, giraffes, and elephants can be observed at close range. The lodge also organizes safaris into Etosha National Park, game-viewing drives, elephant walks, horse riding excursions, sundowner drives, and programs focused on animal care and wildlife conservation. These activities offer close encounters with Namibia’s wildlife while also providing insight into important conservation projects.
