Etosha Safari Camp of the Gondwana Collection Namibia is located 9 km south of the Anderson Gate at Etosha National Park, making it a convenient starting point for game drives in one of the most renowned conservation areas in southern Africa. Set within a loose mopane bush landscape, the property conveys a relaxed atmosphere that sets it apart from a traditional lodge style and instead resembles a lively safari camp focused on resource-efficient operations, local value creation, and the protection of the natural environment.

Accommodation at Etosha Safari Camp
The camp offers 50 freestanding chalets, including twin and triple units as well as family chalets designed for travelers with children. All chalets feature en-suite bathrooms with showers, air conditioning, mosquito nets, a safe, a private veranda, and facilities for coffee and tea preparation. Additional amenities include a swimming pool, Wi-Fi in communal areas, secure parking, and a laundry service.
The “Camping2Go” units are permanently installed safari tents designed for self-catering. They accommodate up to four people and include a private bathroom with shower as well as a covered outdoor kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, stove, sink, and cooking utensils. A veranda with a barbecue area and fire pit completes the setup. In addition, the camp features a campsite with around 20 pitches on well-maintained, partly shaded grounds under mopane trees, offering electricity connections, barbecue facilities, and shared ablution blocks with hot and cold water.
A defining feature of the camp is its culturally inspired style: at its center is the Okambashu Restaurant, whose name means “Our Home” and which impresses with regional design elements and a relaxed, social atmosphere. This concept is complemented by the Oshebeena Bar, inspired by traditional shebeens and offering an authentic insight into the everyday culture of southern Africa.
