Oppi Koppi is a welcoming rest camp in north-western Namibia, located in the small town of Kamanjab in the Kunene Region. The property lies just 300 metres from the town centre and close to the junction of the C35 and C40 main roads. Thanks to its convenient location, it is a popular stopover for travellers heading to Damaraland, Kaokoland, the Epupa Falls or the western entrance of Etosha National Park at Galton Gate, approximately 70 km away.

Accommodation at Oppi Koppi Restcamp
Surrounded by dry thornbush savannah, the rest camp is a green oasis with shady trees and well-kept gardens. Guests can choose from twelve air-conditioned luxury rooms, two standard rooms with ceiling fans, one family room and three luxurious self-catering family units. All rooms offer private parking as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. The luxury rooms additionally feature a private terrace and an in-room safe.
Camping enthusiasts will find eight campsites on the property. Each site is equipped with its own water point, electricity supply and barbecue area. Modern shared ablution facilities with toilets and hot showers are available for campers.
Communal facilities include a swimming pool reserved exclusively for resident guests and an à la carte restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. An adjoining bar is popular with both travellers and locals and has become a convivial meeting place in north-western Namibia. Additional services include laundry facilities as well as the sale of firewood and ice.
Activities and tours at Oppi Koppi Restcamp
The area around Kamanjab offers a variety of activities and excursions. Visitors can explore traditional Ovahimba villages and gain insight into the culture and lifestyle of this semi-nomadic people. Historic rock engravings found nearby bear witness to the region's long history of human settlement. Another memorable experience is the chance to spot porcupines and other nocturnal animals around the camp after dark. Hiking in the surrounding area also rewards visitors with impressive views of the vast landscapes of north-western Namibia.
